Since I have given up certain foods for Lent, I'm posting a picture of my chocolate waffle charm instead! Today is White Day which is celebrated in Japan, Korea, and other Asian countries. It is a holiday that takes place one month after Valentines Day. In Japan, Valentines is a little different than the United States where I live. In the states it is a romantic holiday for couples to celebrate. Japanese people give chocolate to friends and co-workers. Also in Japan the women give to the men, where the opposite is true in the states. Then on White Day the women receive chocolate. I've seen adorable pictures of chocolate making kits from Japan, too bad we don't do that here. Of course it would be rather expensive, I don't know how they afford chocolate for so many people!
